Tutorials

In addition to the Monthly Workshop Nights (usually the 2nd Tuesday) the club conducts regular training days specifically designed to assist new photographers with their hobby. These additional workshops are for Financial Members only.

Getting to Know Your Camera day

A full day that starts with the basics; shutter speeds, aperture, ISO, depth of field, composition etc. Followed by small group sessions with experienced photographers to guide you through those "What does this button do?" and "How do I ....?" questions. After lunch, we break up into small groups for practical sessions that demonstrate depth of field, fill flash, white balance, metering, exposure compensation etc.

Introduction to Editing Images

A full day where, in small groups (usually a maximum of 4 students), you will do basic editing of images under the guidance of an experienced photographer. Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Lightroom are the subjects that you can learn.

Pro Show Gold Workshop

A full day of training and hands-on help to get you up and running. Turn your beautiful images and videos into a stunning slide show for family and friends.
