Bio:
I am a keen amateur photographer who has been interested in photography for over forty years. My main interests are in land/seascapes and nature photography, although I am willing to “have a go” at all genre.
I have shot with both 35mm film and digital cameras, but now shoot almost exclusively with digital.
I am a member of several camera clubs and has won numerous awards including a number of annual “Top Shot” awards within these clubs. He has also received some good results in external competitions such as the Castle Hill Show, where he was awarded first place in the “Monochrome – Nature” section with second and third places in other sections, and the Campbelltown “Quota Club” Photographic competition in 2003, where he was awarded overall best entry together with placings in a number of categories.
The images that I enter in exhibitions and competitions are ones that I like …. if someone else likes them too, then that is a bonus.
I am a retired Engineering Manager and combines his love of photography with his other passions of touring around Australia, camping and four wheel driving. Since his retirement he has enjoyed the extra time that he can now spend on his these interests. He lives in Sydney and loves to escape to the bush whenever he can. A natural extension of his interests in photography and computers has led him into the internet as webmaster for several organisation of which he is a member.
