Club Activities
Our club has many benefits available only to it’s members. We have programs and resources for the beginner photographer through to the more advanced and our members come from all walks of life and have a broad skill set. We have something for just about everyone.
Guest Speakers:
We have monthly guest speakers. Our guest speakers are generally professional photographers or serious amateurs and all have a willingness to share their passion for photography. We all can be inspired and encouraged by their work and learn from their experience.
Social Outings:
Our club organises group photographic outings for members to various venues several times a year. These outings cater for the beginner to the advanced photographer. You can improve your photographic skills as well as enjoy social interaction with other club members.
Training:
Getting to Know Your Camera days are a great way for the new photographer to become familiar with their camera, its various features and how to use them. From there, you can go on to attend one of our Introduction to Editing Images days covering various types of photo editing software, from the beginner to the advanced. Monthly Workshop Nights are held to further increase the knowledge and skills of members. These training courses are for members only.
Club Discounts:
As a large club we have access to discounts from a number of photographic suppliers and various organisations and venues, throughout the local and surrounding areas. We regularly have access to bulk purchases of books, equipment and accessories.
