Tuesday 26 June- Competition Night
To qualify for the set subject the image must depict a subject (person, animal or (thing) or situation that at first glance appears different than it actually is, does something else than first thought or is in a different situation than is directly obvious. The illusion can be achieved by choice of camera angle, lens choice or through image manipulation. If the image is a composite, all parts used must be produced by the author. Examples are: a person appearing to jump over a deep ravine while he/she is in reality only a few meters off the ground (we have all seen these); a person holding the sun or moon or appearing to stop the leaning tower of Pisa from falling, someone or something appearing much bigger than a big structure through the use of a wide angle lens.
The possibilities are really endless
